It is extremely important for each of us to get into the habit of having a continuous and honest inner conversation with ourselves so we can be conscious of our strengths and weaknesses. Once we are conscious of them lets develop a plan to manage them. Not giving permission to our weaknesses to take control and let our strengths to have an upper hand in the way we perceive ourselves.
Embarking on a journey to build your self-esteem is not going to be an easy task. Your sense of worth about yourself started way back during your childhood by the way you were treated by people with authority around you. They didn’t necessarily had ill intentions in how it was done. But years of conditioning may have taken a toll the way you perceive yourself, brought about by social and cultural factors, represented by people and institutions close to us.
Low self-esteem can have a say and could play a major role in assessing your real worth. Causing instances and episodes of depression because you might feel not having the skills to do at an acceptable level or have an unmerited opinion about who you really are. Also feeling inferior and comparing with others and feeling less than others. Not realizing of a conditioning which has taken place throughout the years since childhood.
Make a habit of not comparing yourself with others because if you pay close attention to it, you will tend to feel less. Just the act of comparison brings about a feeling of not being good enough. Be consistent with a conscious plan you feel strong enough in making radical changes to turn around in the way you feel about yourself.
There is a uniqueness in every human being and nobody can take that away from us. It’s an undeniable fact which is one of the most powerful factor in making possible what we all need to change the perception we have about ourselves. Our uniqueness carries with it a package of wonderful skills which play a major role in the pursuit of our goals and dreams to better ourselves.
Decide to change direction and embark in a new journey in which you’ll make major changes requiring the best of you in terms of concentration, energy and emotions. You have to work on it every conscious moment of your life.
Do your utmost to be aware of who you are with your weaknesses and strengths and accept them as well as where you are in life. This is your real now, where you must begin.Trust the moment and depend only on yourself to change it and enjoy it no matter how hard seems to be, because is yours. You will always become a better person every time you overcome a major challenge. You’ll be developing the muscles of your soul to feel better, motivated, inspired, energize and better about yourself. Now you have really placed yourself where you deserve to be happy with who you are.
Now you can really say and feel you are building your self-esteem at levels not felt before.
